Our History
Our family has deep roots in the vibrant community of Bezanson, Alberta, dating back to 1919 when we began homesteading on this land. From operating the ferry and the historic "stopping house" that crossed the Smoky River for the final time in 1949, to founding Moody Construction Ltd., that started in Widewater, Alberta, our legacy of service and dedication has been a cornerstone of the region.
Although Moody Construction Ltd. had the potential to become one of the area's leading construction companies, our journey took a different path following the untimely passing of "Jerry" Moody in 1980 at just 44 years old.
Today, Moody Contracting and Aggregate Ltd. proudly carries forward the vision and values instilled by our father and grandfather. Our mission is to build upon this legacy and continue serving as your trusted aggregate supplier and service provider in Grande Prairie and the surrounding area.
